Osteoarthritis (degenerative arthritis) Board decisions

The Veteran's claim for service connection for bronchial asthma was reopened and granted. Service connection for obstructive sleep apnea is also granted, but the right knee condition, back problems, and psychiatric disorder claims are remanded.

The Veteran's initial compensable evaluations for his right knee and right shoulder disabilities are being remanded due to lack of recent VA examinations.

However, the claim for an initial rating higher than 10 percent prior to September 26, 2017, remains pending and requires further examination.

The Veteran's right knee disability, including osteoarthritis and a previous meniscectomy, is rated at 60 percent from September 1, 2013 to February 10, 2016.

The Veteran's service-connected conditions, including his anxiety disorder and physical disabilities such as knee pain and shoulder impingement syndrome, have rendered him unable to obtain or maintain gainful employment.
