The Board remands the claim for an addendum VA medical opinion to determine if the Veteran's service-connected PTSD and/or musculoskeletal disabilities caused him to become overweight, which in turn led to his diabetes.

The Veteran was granted special monthly compensation (SMC) based on the need for aid and attendance from July 28, 2023, through September 21, 2024.
