Hypertension (high blood pressure) Board decisions

The appeal is dismissed due to the death of the Veteran.

The Board denied service connection for multiple conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis, right hip degenerative joint disease and rheumatoid arthritis with acetabular cyst status post right total hip replacement, osteoarthritis, psoriatic arthritis, hypertension, prostate cancer, diabetes mellitus type II, fever sores, and a compromised immune system, as the evidence did not support a finding of service connection for any of these conditions.

The Board denied the claims for entitlement to service connection for a cardiovascular disability, including atrial enlargement, LVH, and hypertension, both directly and as secondary to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and also under the PACT Act.

The Board granted service connection for a heart condition, to include coronary artery disease, hypertension, and bilateral knee disabilities based on presumptive exposure to herbicide agents during active service.
