Knee decisions — 2026

The Board has granted service connection for right hip bursitis and degenerative changes, left hip bursitis and labral tear, right knee pain and dysfunction, left knee pain and dysfunction, right shoulder impingement syndrome and degenerative changes, and left shoulder impingement syndrome and degenerative changes.

The Board has decided to remand both issues of service connection for left and right knee disabilities due to the Veteran's missed VA examination, which was related to imprisonment. The AOJ is required to schedule a new VA examination to determine the nature and likely cause of any knee disability.
