Peripheral neuropathy decisions — 2023

The Veteran's left arm tremor is granted a disability rating of 40 percent, but no higher. A TDIU is granted beginning May 26, 2016.

The Veteran's right lower extremity neuropathy was rated at 10 percent from May 11, 2010, through April 9, 2012. From April 10, 2012, through March 7, 2017, a 20 percent rating was granted for moderate incomplete paralysis of the nerves affecting his right lower extremity. As of March 8, 2017, the Veteran's condition did not warrant a higher rating.

The Veteran's service-connected disabilities, including peripheral neuropathy with sciatica of the right leg and PTSD, have rendered her unable to secure and maintain employment since March 2012. The Board has remanded the case for further development and consideration.

The Veteran's COPD, PN of the bilateral upper extremities, and PN of the bilateral lower extremities are remanded for additional development due to inadequate reasoning in previous VA medical opinions.

The Veteran's appeal for a higher rating prior to October 27, 2016 for his right little finger fracture and ulnar neuropathy was denied. The Board also remanded the TDIU claim for further review.
