The Veteran's appeal is being remanded to afford him a hearing before the Board of Veterans' Appeals. The current issue is whether he should receive an evaluation higher than 50 percent for his service-connected PTSD with major depression.

The Veteran's appeal is being remanded for further development, including an updated VA examination and a Social and Industrial Survey to determine the impact of his service-connected PTSD on his employability.

The Board has ordered a remand to address the Veteran's claim for service connection for psychiatric disability, specifically major depressive disorder and PTSD. The remand is due to inadequate notice regarding personal assault claims.

The Veteran's service-connected PTSD does not prevent him from securing and following all forms of substantially gainful employment.

The Veteran's appeal is being remanded for scheduling a videoconference hearing before the Board of Veterans' Appeals.

The Board has determined that additional development is needed to properly adjudicate the Veteran's claims for service connection, including obtaining a stressor verification and an examination.

The Veteran's PTSD prior to March 4, 2010 manifested with occasional decrease in work efficiency and intermittent periods of inability to perform occupational tasks, but generally functioning satisfactorily.

The Veteran's bilateral hearing loss disability and PTSD have been granted service connection, with the PTSD receiving a rating of 70 percent prior to March 29, 2011, and 100 percent from that date.

The Veteran's claim for service connection for PTSD was granted effective from March 9, 2004. The Board found that the case had been open since March 9, 2004 and thus determined an earlier effective date of March 9, 2004 is warranted.

The Veteran's PTSD has been rated at 70 percent since October 18, 2007. The rating was increased to 100 percent effective February 10, 2011.
