PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) decisions — 2021

The Veteran's claim for an effective date earlier than November 17, 2004 for the grant of service connection for PTSD was denied. The Board also remanded the issue of entitlement to a TDIU prior to January 14, 2013 on an extraschedular basis.

The Veteran's claim for service connection for peptic ulcer disease was reopened and granted. Service connection for gastrointestinal disorder, to include as diagnosed as peptic ulcer disease, is also granted. The claims for right knee disability and PTSD are remanded.

The Veteran's claims for a rating in excess of 30 percent for PTSD and TDIU are being remanded due to the need for additional development, including obtaining missing VA records.
