PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) decisions — 2025

The veteran's appeal for an earlier effective date for PTSD was dismissed because the veteran withdrew the claim.

The veteran's service-connected PTSD and prostate cancer residuals prevent him from obtaining or maintaining gainful employment, so he is granted total disability on individual unemployability (TDIU) effective December 30, 2022.

The veteran is granted a 70% rating for PTSD with depression and anxiety, effective August 5, 2014. The veteran is also granted TDIU and DEA benefits from the same date. A higher rating was denied.
