The Veteran's appeal for an increased rating of gout and PTSD with TBI residuals from November 11, 2015 forward was dismissed due to the Veteran's withdrawal.,The Veteran's appeal for a higher rating of PTSD prior to November 11, 2015 was also dismissed.

The Veteran's claim for service connection for an acquired psychiatric disability, including PTSD, has been granted. The claim for service connection for a traumatic brain injury (TBI) is remanded.

The Veteran's PTSD was rated at 30 percent prior to May 3, 2013 and increased to 70 percent beginning May 3, 2013.,Prior to May 3, 2013, the Veteran's PTSD caused occupational and social impairment with occasional decrease in work efficiency and intermittent periods of inability to perform occupational tasks.

The Board denied service connection for PTSD and an acquired psychiatric disability, including major depression and personality disorder. The evidence did not support a diagnosis of PTSD or establish that the current psychiatric conditions were incurred in service.
