Shoulder decisions — 2026

The Veteran's right shoulder replacement residuals are rated at 30 percent since June 13, 2022. The Board has determined that the evidence is in equipoise as to whether the Veteran experiences severe painful motion affecting his major extremity (right shoulder) from June 13, 2022, and grants a 60 percent rating effective June 13, 2022.

The Veteran's appeal for service connection of a left shoulder condition was dismissed because the appellant withdrew their appeal prior to the Board making a decision.

The Board has decided to remand the case for a supplemental opinion regarding the Veteran's right shoulder DJD and tendinosis, residuals of right shoulder dislocation.
