Shoulder Board decisions

The Board has denied service connection for left and right testicle conditions, as well as other issues including a stomach condition, migraine headaches, eye condition, foot condition, and right shoulder condition. The case is remanded for further development.

The Board has remanded the Veteran's claims for a TDIU and Dependents' Educational Assistance prior to October 27, 2015, due to the need for further action by the Director, VA Compensation Service.

The Veteran's claims for increased ratings of his left knee, right knee, lumbar spine strain, and right shoulder sprain have been denied by the Board. The RO has attempted to schedule VA examinations at Two Rivers Correctional Institution but was unable to do so due to the institution's policies.

The Veteran's left shoulder disability is rated at 20 percent, but the Board finds that it does not warrant a higher rating due to functional loss and pain.,For tinea versicolor, the Veteran was granted a compensable rating prior to July 9, 2013. After this date, his condition did not meet criteria for a higher rating.

The Veteran withdrew his appeals regarding compensation under 38 U.S.C. § 1151 for a right shoulder injury and service connection for a neck injury.

The Board has decided to remand the claims for service connection for left shoulder and left ankle disabilities due to incomplete records and need for additional medical opinions.

The Board has granted service connection for bilateral shoulder disability and remanded the issues of increased ratings for neck and back disabilities.

The Veteran's right shoulder disability and scar were evaluated at a 20% rating, which is the maximum available under Diagnostic Code 5201 for limited motion of the arm. The appeal was denied as there was no evidence to support a higher rating.

The Board has remanded the claims for service connection for degenerative joint disease of the right shoulder and emphysema due to inadequate development. The Board has granted service connection for bilateral upper extremity paresthesia and numbness, as well as degenerative joint disease of both hands, elbows, and shoulders. Service connection for impingement syndrome of both shoulders is also granted.

For the period from September 1, 2013 to July 16, 2015, a separate 40 percent rating for right shoulder limitation of arm is granted.,Effective date for TDIU is set at September 1, 2016.
