Sinusitis decisions — 2007

The veteran's claims for service connection were denied. The initial compensable rating claim was also denied.

The Board found no evidence of sinusitis, right ankle disorder, or left Achilles tendonitis in service. The veteran's symptoms were not shown to be related to his military service and are considered separate from any service-connected conditions.

The veteran's service-connected sinusitis with headaches has been granted a 10 percent rating, effective from the date of the decision. The initial compensable ratings for irritable bowel syndrome and migraine headaches have also been granted.

The Board has determined that the veteran's service connection claim for an upper respiratory condition, including chronic sinusitis, needs further development due to missing service medical records and a need for additional evidence.
