Sinusitis Board decisions

The Board denied service connection for various disabilities, including allergic rhinitis, sinusitis, respiratory conditions, foot and ankle issues, knee and shoulder problems, low back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, IBS, and sleep disorders.

The Board granted service connection for right ankle strain and increased disability ratings to 30 percent for right shoulder AC joint osteoarthritis, right knee arthritic changes, left knee meniscal repair, sinusitis, and vertigo.

The Board denied the Veteran's claims for an earlier effective date than August 5, 2021, for awards of service connection for allergic rhinitis and asthma.

The Board denied service connection for a left shoulder disorder, sinusitis, and a nerve disorder other than service-connected bilateral upper extremity radiculopathy. However, it granted an initial 20 percent rating for left great toe gout and a 50 percent rating for migraines.

The Board granted earlier effective dates of August 5, 2021, for the grant of service connection for sinusitis and dermatitis under the PACT Act.

The Board granted a 30 percent initial evaluation for service-connected sinusitis, but remanded the increased initial rating claim for lumbosacral strain.

The Board denied service connection for acne and remanded several claims, while granting a 10 percent rating for the headache condition from April 11, 2022, to May 5, 2023.

The Board granted service connection for allergic rhinitis, ED secondary to a service-connected depressive disorder, and horizontal diplopia. The claims for a right shoulder disability, rash, and OSA were remanded.
