Sinusitis Board decisions

The Board denied an initial rating in excess of 10 percent for tinnitus and a compensable rating for bilateral hearing loss. The claims for service connection for headache disorder, sinusitis, obstructive sleep apnea, COPD, colon cancer, and lung cancer were remanded for further development.

The Board restored the 50 percent rating for service-connected migraines, effective January 1, 2024, as the evidence did not show improvement in the Veteran's migraines under ordinary conditions of life and work. The appeal regarding DEA based on permanent and total disability status was dismissed as moot.
