Skin conditions (dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis) decisions — 2025

The Board remanded the claim for service connection for dermatitis. The Veteran's claim will be reconsidered with new evidence.

The veteran's claim for a rating higher than 70% for PTSD was denied. A 10% rating for eczema was granted. TDIU was granted prior to June 15, 2021, but dismissed afterward.

The Veteran's rating for dyshidrotic eczema was restored to 60% effective February 12, 2024.

The veteran's disability rating for pseudofolliculitis was increased to 30 percent.

The Board denied service connection for left and right ankle pain, reduced the rating for bilateral hearing loss to zero percent, and denied compensable ratings for chronic sinusitis, bilateral tinea pedis, and hypertension. The claims for IBS, foot pain, hand pain, dry eyes, and increased ratings for knee arthritis were remanded.

The Board denied service connection for all claimed conditions due to lack of current diagnosis or functional loss.

The veteran's appeal for a higher rating for pseudofolliculitis barbae (PFB) was partially granted. The Board assigned an initial compensable rating of 10 percent for PFB, but denied a higher rating.
