Traumatic brain injury (TBI) Board decisions

The Board remanded all issues to the Agency of Original Jurisdiction (AOJ) for further development and examination. The Veteran's claims for service connection related to bilateral hearing loss, residuals of frostbite in both hands and feet, and plantar fasciitis were not decided on the merits.

The veteran was granted a 70% rating for PTSD before August 23, 2012, and a 100% rating thereafter. The effective date for DEA benefits prior to July 7, 2010, was denied. An August 12, 2012, effective date for SMC at the housebound rate was granted.
