GrantedPACT Act
The Board granted service connection for migraines, considering the Veteran's participation in a toxic exposure risk activity (TERA) and the provisions of the Sergeant First Class Heath Robinson Honoring our Promise to Address Comprehensive Toxics Act (PACT Act).
The deciding factor: The October 2023 VA medical opinion was found more probative as it considered the Veteran's proximity and duration of exposure to burn pits, in addition to toxic exposures experienced as a petroleum supply specialist.
