Glaucoma decisions — 2015

The Board has granted the Veteran's claims for service connection for glaucoma, ocular hypertension, and diminished color perception as secondary to diabetes. The effective date remains January 24, 1973, as there was no CUE in the RO decision assigning this date. The claim for an earlier effective date for hearing loss disability is denied due to lack of evidence of a prior informal claim within one year of separation from service.
