Fibromyalgia decisions — 2014

The Board has determined that the Veteran's gastrointestinal disorder, including GERD but not peptic ulcer disease, is as likely as not due to an event or incident of his extensive active service. The claim for service connection for a gastrointestinal disorder other than peptic ulcers is granted.

The Board has received notification from the appellant that he wishes to withdraw his appeals for hearing loss disability and tinnitus. As such, these issues are dismissed.

The Veteran's service in Germany did not involve exposure to herbicides, and there is no evidence of his claimed disabilities being related to service. The claims for arthritis, fibromyalgia, and heart disease are denied.
