Fibromyalgia Board decisions

The Board has remanded the cases of GERD, fibromyalgia, and sleep apnea for further examination to determine their etiology. The Veteran's service connection claims for these conditions are pending.

The Board has remanded the claims for service connection for PTSD, an increased rating for fibromyalgia prior to September 10, 2019, and TDIU due to in-service stressor confirmation issues. The Veteran's claim of service connection for PTSD is also remanded for a VA examination to determine if his claimed in-service stressors are confirmed.

The Board has granted service connection for acetabular labral tearing and cartilage injury of the left hip, fibromyalgia (secondary to PTSD), and sleep apnea (both secondary to PTSD). The Veteran's current diagnoses are related to his military service or service-connected conditions.

The Board denied the Veteran's claims for service connection for various conditions, including bilateral chondromalacia patella with arthroscopic knee surgeries, endometriosis, fibromyalgia, right salpingectomy/oophorectomy, total hysterectomy, right ovarian wedge resection, hearing loss, tinnitus, proctalgia fugax, and left parietal meningioma. The Board found that the evidence did not support a finding of service connection for these conditions.
