Fibromyalgia Board decisions

The Veteran's claims for service connection for RUE, LUE, fibromyalgia, and osteomalacia were denied as there is no evidence of these conditions during the appeal period.

The Board denied the Veteran's claims for service connection for fibromyalgia, peripheral neuropathy of the bilateral lower extremities (claimed as frostbite), spine disability, chronic myeloid leukemia, skin cancer, leukocytosis, and lung condition. The evidence did not support a finding that these conditions were related to service.

The Veteran's fibromyalgia was granted an increased rating to 40 percent effective December 13, 2010. The issue of separate disability ratings for sleep apnea and asthma or a higher combined rating remains unresolved.

The Veteran's claims for fibromyalgia, IBS, left knee disability, right leg disability, low back disability, and sleep apnea have been denied as they are not service-connected.

The Veteran's migraine headaches are rated at the highest schedular rating available, and a higher rating is not warranted.,The Board finds that the Veteran meets the criteria for TDIU due to her service-connected disabilities.

The Board has remanded the Veteran's claim of entitlement to service connection for fibromyalgia due to a Joint Motion from the Court, which requires an addendum medical opinion and consideration of whether fibromyalgia is related to tinnitus.

The Board has determined that the Veteran did not have fibromyalgia during service or due to herbicide exposure, and thus denied his claim for service connection.
