Fibromyalgia Board decisions

The Veteran's symptoms of depression, anxiety, and insomnia are attributed to her service-connected fibromyalgia. The claim for an acquired psychiatric disorder is denied as the claimed conditions are not due to undiagnosed illness or other qualifying chronic disability. The claim for bilateral hand tremors remains pending.

The Veteran's service-connected fibromyalgia and lumbosacral strain with degenerative disc disease have caused him to require the regular aid and attendance of another person on a regular basis, meeting the criteria for an award of aid and attendance benefits.
