Hemorrhoids decisions — 2016

The Board has ordered additional development due to the need for clarification of medical records and opinions regarding service connection.

The Board has remanded the case due to a pending Travel Board hearing request and will schedule a hearing before a Veterans Law Judge.

The Board denied service connection for hemorrhoids, status post hemorrhoidectomy in January 2011 due to clear and unmistakable evidence showing the condition preexisted service and was not aggravated by service.

His left inguinal hernia, impotence, tendonitis of the right wrist, sinusitis with headaches, skin disease, and meralgia paresthetica of the right thigh are all rated as non-compensable. The Veteran's sleep apnea was granted service connection effective September 20, 2007, and he received a 30 percent rating for it.

The Board has determined that VA medical examinations are necessary to adjudicate the appeal and these matters are therefore REMANDED for further action.
