Hemorrhoids Board decisions

The Board has granted a 10 percent rating for the veteran's service-connected hemorrhoids, effective from December 29, 1990 to September 12, 1991. From September 13, 1991 onwards, the rating remains at 10 percent.

The Board denied the veteran's request for an earlier effective date for service connection of hemorrhoids and found that the March 31, 1978 rating decision was not clearly and unmistakably erroneous in not inferring a claim for hemorrhoids.

The Board denied increased ratings for duodenal ulcer and hemorrhoidectomy, finding that the evidence did not meet the criteria for a compensable rating.,The veteran's claim to reopen his hearing loss service connection was also denied.

The Board denied the veteran's claims for service connection for anemia as secondary to his service-connected hemorrhoids, a request for an increased rating for hemorrhoids, and a claim for permanent and total disability for pension purposes. The evidence did not support these claims.
