Hip decisions — 2020

The Board has found entitlement to a TDIU granted as of May 1, 2007. The claim for TDIU prior to May 1, 2007 is still on appeal and must be considered under the criteria set forth in 38 C.F.R. § 4.16 (b).

The Veteran's initial and subsequent ratings for left and right hip disabilities have been denied.,The Veteran’s claim of entitlement to a TDIU prior to January 8, 2018, has also been denied.

The Board has denied service connection for a stomach condition and remanded the cases of back, left hip, and right hip disabilities due to insufficient evidence.

The Board has granted service connection for a right hip disability, finding that the Veteran's pre-existing condition was aggravated by his military service.

The Veteran's petition to reopen his service connection claim for a left hip disability is granted. The Board finds new and material evidence has been received, but the issue of entitlement to compensation for 1151 claim for a left hip disability remains remanded due to incomplete consideration by the RO.
