The Board has remanded the claims of service connection for various hip and foot conditions, as well as shoulder conditions, due to inadequate medical opinions addressing the Veteran's contentions regarding in-service falls and treatment for rubella.

The Board has found that service connection is not warranted for a right hip disability. The issue of service connection for a right knee disability is remanded due to the need for further examination and opinion.

The appeals were dismissed due to the Veteran's withdrawal of his claims.

The Veteran's petition to reopen the claim for service connection for left hip disability was granted. Service connection for this condition is denied, but a rating of 10 percent for Graves' disease remains in effect.

The Board has remanded the claims for service connection for bilateral hip conditions, including as secondary to a service-connected lumbar spine disability. The Veteran's medical records indicate a relationship between his service-connected back disability and his bilateral hip pain.
