Hip Board decisions

The Board has granted service connection for a left hip condition and a right hip condition, both found to be secondary to the Veteran's service-connected disabilities of the bilateral knees.

The Board has remanded the claims for increased ratings for a right hip disability and TDIU due to inextricably entwined issues. The Veteran needs a new VA examination to assess her right hip disability, including flare-ups and functional impairment.

The Veteran's TDIU claim is granted from November 21, 2019. The right hip disability service connection claim is remanded due to duty-to-assist errors.
