Hip Board decisions

The Veteran's initial compensable rating for the residuals of a left bunionectomy has been granted. The Board is addressing her claims regarding degenerative changes of the left hip and service connection for right foot bunion and calluses.

The Veteran's claims for service connection for left shoulder and left hip conditions have been denied as there is no competent medical evidence showing a current disability or in-service injury that resulted in these conditions.

The Veteran's claim for an initial compensable rating before January 28, 2008 was granted and he is now rated at 10 percent for pseudofolliculitis barbae.

The Veteran's appeal is being remanded due to scheduling issues for a hearing before the Board.
