Shoulder Board decisions

The Veteran's right shoulder disability is currently rated at 40 percent disabling, effective March 7, 2024. The Board has granted an increased rating for the period from April 30, 2009 to March 7, 2024.

The Board has decided to remand the Veteran's claims for service connection for left ankle and left shoulder conditions due to inadequate consideration of relevant evidence.

The Board has decided to remand the Veteran's claims for service connection for left shoulder strain, right elbow tendonitis, and left elbow tendonitis due to a pre-decisional duty-to-assist error. The AOJ should reschedule VA examinations to determine the nature and etiology of these conditions.

The Board has determined that the Veteran's left shoulder rotator cuff tendonitis and glenohumeral joint osteoarthritis are related to his military service, granting service connection for these conditions.
