The Board denied service connection for bilateral hearing loss and bilateral tinnitus, but granted service connection for a left knee condition, to include patellofemoral arthritis.
The deciding factor: The August 2024 VA examiner concluded that the Veteran's hearing loss was less likely than not due to his military service based on the significant amount of time between separation and the decrease in hearing. For tinnitus, the examiner found no evidence supporting a link to service and noted that the onset was well after separation from service.
