Hemorrhoids Board decisions

The Veteran's current anxiety disorder is proximately due to, or the result of, his adjudicated service-connected disabilities. Service connection for an anxiety disorder as secondary to his service-connected disabilities has been granted.

The Board has remanded six service connection claims due to the need for additional VA examinations and consideration of new evidence. The Veteran's reported symptoms will be evaluated in conjunction with his service records.

The Veteran's initial evaluation for hemorrhoids was granted, with a rating of 10 percent effective from March 8, 2022. The condition is rated as mild to moderate throughout the appeal period.

The Veteran's right shoulder disability is not service-connected, as there is no evidence of a current diagnosis or etiology related to his military service.,There is insufficient evidence to establish GERD as a current condition. The Veteran has reported symptoms but no formal diagnosis was found during the appeal period.,The Veteran's gastrointestinal conditions are remanded for further examination and opinion, given potential in-service exposure.
